Delete it yourself

BlinkFix Enterprise uses your BlinkFix account, so deleting it here deletes that account everywhere (the BlinkFix app, blinkfix.me and Enterprise).

1. In the Enterprise app: Settings → Delete your account. On this website: sign in, open the account menu at the top right, and choose Delete account.
2. Read what will happen: the organisations you will lose access to, any places or jobs you have in the BlinkFix app, and anything to sort out first.
3. We email a 6-digit code to your account’s address. Enter it within 15 minutes.
4. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out everywhere.

In the BlinkFix app the same option is under Profile → Info → Account → Delete account.

Email [email protected] from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete my account”. We check that the request comes from you, delete the account within one month at the latest, and confirm by email.

Before you delete

• Only admin of an organisation? Give another person the admin role under People first, so the organisation is not left without one. Deletion is blocked until you do.
• Open orders or unpaid fees in the BlinkFix app also have to be finished first.
• Store subscriptions bought in the BlinkFix app are billed by Apple or Google: cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account.

What happens to the data

• Your name, email, phone, job titles, date of birth and password are deleted or anonymised, your seats are removed, and your devices are signed out.
• Messages you sent and documents you uploaded belong to your organisation’s records. They stay with the organisation and show as from “Deleted user”.
• Invoices and payment records are kept for 6 years because tax law requires it.
• Working hours and bonuses recorded for a company-owned establishment stay with the employer’s records.

Deleting an organisation’s data

To close an organisation’s Enterprise account and delete its data, an admin should email [email protected]. Admins can export data for 30 days after the agreement ends; then we delete or anonymise it, except records we must keep by law.
